This virtual course will provide a brief overview of recasting financials and of the various business pricing approaches that exist, and then provide detailed instruction on the use of the Capitalization Method to arrive at an opinion of value. While the emphasis is on application in dental practices, the Capitalization Method has broad applicability to other niche practices such as Vet Clinics, and is another important skill set for your tool kit. Real life scenarios, case studies and hands-on exercises provide an engaging and practical learning experience.
This course is geared for:

Practicing general Business Brokers who wish to build competency in brokering dental practices for sale, or a similar specialty market.
Business Brokers currently specializing in dental practices, veterinary clinics, etc. who want to improve their financial recasting and pricing acumen.

Students will benefit not only from the instructor's expertise on the subject, but also from peer collaboration on small group learning exercises and networking. Webcam usage is highly encouraged for optimal learning.

Students should have a working familiarity with business brokerage concepts and the course content assumes understanding of fundamental recasting and pricing principles. It is highly recommended that students have previously completed IBBA courses #210, #220 and #221.
